These are two of the bird drawings (an osprey and a bald eagle) I made after seeing them as specimens at the University of Colorado Natural History Museum. I started by making blind contour drawings, then working into them back in my basement studio at home, or in the College of Engineering library during my lunch hours at work.
I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease in April, 1989 by a St. Louis internist, Dr. Anna Niesen. I moved out of St. Louis in 1991, but in April 2013 I moved back. There have been a lot of changes in those twenty-two years, especially in the gluten free scene. I'm on the look out for the best places in the Gate City to eat and shop GF.
