In the Alpine Tundra

Yesterday we went for a little outing and ended up at the top of a 12,466-foot peak, Sundance Mountain. We got there by driving the Trail Ridge Road west into the Rocky Mountain National Park. After two straight days of rain in the foothills, which translated to snow in the upper reaches, the experience was thrilling!
  1. Lauren and Bret give the thumbs up from the summit.
  2. Forest Canyon
  3. Gorge Lakes
  4. The view from Sundance Mountain
