Seems we have similar 'back yards'! We too have ducks...first sign for us that Spring has finally arrived is that the ducks return to the pond (in our backyard). I like to think it's the same two each year. They swim a bit and claim the pond as theirs, they 'court', then mate, then the 'babies' show up. Our 2cnd year now to witness this ritual.
I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease in April, 1989 by a St. Louis internist, Dr. Anna Niesen. I moved out of St. Louis in 1991, but in April 2013 I moved back. There have been a lot of changes in those twenty-two years, especially in the gluten free scene. I'm on the look out for the best places in the Gate City to eat and shop GF.

Aren't they beautiful? And what a wonderful ritual to witness. I'll go back this weekend to see if there are any hatchlings.
